The art of smoking concentrates changed entirely when nectar collectors were introduced to the market about one and half years ago. Before the dawn of the device, many contended with – compared to the nectar collector – less efficient gadgets such as vaporizers and oil rigs which are also known as dab rigs. Unlike the erstwhile smoking gears, nectar collectors are portable, easy and fun to use especially among a circle of friends with whom you intend to have enthralling party gigs. Like vaporizers and rigs they are either made of quartz or glass and they comprise of a body, a neck and a tip.
How it Works
It’s easy to confuse nectar collectors for small alien space ships because of their syringe-like bodies that are attached to an embedded percolator. The percolator takes care of the gadget’s filtration processes whenever water is introduced to make the smoking experience safe. The smoke is inhaled through a titanium tip mouth piece which is supported by the neck. A pricey nectar collector comes with a wax dish that’s used as a launching pad for the inhalation process that’s propelled by a rotating metal that’s mounted on an intricately designed stand.
How to Spark the Action
The most effective way to use the device is to add water to the base until the water level is half-way full as this allows for optimum percolation of the concentrates’ ingredients. Add the mouth piece to the base and apply a bit of wax to stop the mouth piece from sliding off while using the gadget. You can then add the titanium tip base before heating it gently using a butane touch. This is the point where you inhale while the tip is submerged in dabs. Note that this device has been designed to cut down on excesses because the titanium tip doesn’t allow you to use more dabs than you need to get your square right.
